This axe is made from a piece of high carbon steel train rail. I cut a section of the thicker top piece off and forge it into a billet that I can then use to make the ax. The head weighs about a pound and a half and it’s fit on a 22” premium hickory handle. It also comes with a custom made leather sheath.
